چکیده

The chemiluminescent reactions Sr1NOCl→SrCl(A ,B)1NO are studied under the single collision conditions in a beam-gas arrangement. The product rotational alignment ^P2( Ĵ8–k̂)&520.40 60.05 for SrCl(B) is obtained from Sr1NOCl chemiluminescent reactions. In addition, the electronic state branching ratio and the product vibrational state distribution have been roughly estimated by simulating the chemiluminescent spectra of SrCl. Quasiclassical trajectory ~QCT! calculations for the Sr1NOCl reaction as a three-body system have been carried out. The calculated results agree well with the experimental ones. © 1998 American Institute of Physics. @S0021-9606~98!02029-7#

Rotational Alignment of Products from the NOCl + Ca Chemiluminescent Reaction

The product rotational alignment 〈P2(Ĵ′‚k̂)〉 ) -0.35 ( 0.04, -0.15 ( 0.02 for CaCl(B), CaCl(A) are obtained from Ca + NOCl chemiluminescent reactions, respectively. The experiments are carried out under single collision conditions in a beam-gas apparatus. Quasi-classical trajectory (QCT) calculations for Ca + NOCl reaction have been carried out. The calculated results agree well with the experim...

Pediatric and young adult exposure to chemiluminescent glow sticks.

BACKGROUND Although chemiluminescent plastic rods, commonly called "glow sticks" or "light sticks," are typically considered to be minimally toxic or nontoxic, published data about exposure to these products are scarce. OBJECTIVES To test our hypothesis that exposure to chemiluminescent products is unlikely to result in significant morbidity or mortality and to describe factors associated wit...

Detection of Listeria monocytogenes with a nonisotopic polymerase chain reaction-coupled ligase chain reaction assay.

A polymerase chain reaction (PCR)-coupled ligase chain reaction (LCR) assay for the specific detection of Listeria monocytogenes (M. Wiedmann, J. Czajka, F. Barany, and C. A. Batt, Appl. Environ. Microbiol. 58:3443-3447, 1992) has been modified for detection of the LCR products with a nonisotopic readout. When a chemiluminescent or a colorimetric substrate for the nonisotopic detection of the L...

Evaluation of Distal Femoral Rotational Alignment with Spiral CT Scan before Total Knee Arthroplasty (A Study in Iranian Population)

Background: Evaluating the landmarks for rotation of the distal femur is a challenge for orthopedic surgeons. Although the posterior femoral condyle axis is a good landmark for surgeons, the surgical transepicondylar axis may be a better option with the help of preoperative CT scanning. The purpose of this study was to ascertain relationships among the axes’ guiding distal femur rotational ...

The dynamical study of O(1D) + HCl(v = 0, j = 0) reaction at hyperthermal collision energies

BACKGROUNDS The quasi-classical trajectory calculations for O(1D) + HCl → OH + Cl (R1) and O(1D) + HCl → ClO + H (R2) reactions have been performed at hyperthermal collision energies (60.0, 90.0, and 120.0 kal/mol) on the 1A' state. Reaction probabilities and integral cross sections are calculated. The product rotational distributions for the two channels, and the product rotational alignment p...
